Inspired

Came upon this while surfing. Thought i should put it up here so that i can come back and look at it whenever i feel so.

A great saying by Saint Maharishi Pathanjali in Yoga Sutra, 500 BC:

"When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bounds. Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents come alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamt yourself to be."

Musings
Deep in my soul that tender secret dwells
Lonely and lost to light for evermore
Save when to thine my heart responsive swells
Then trembles into silence as before;

Regret
ONE asked of regret
And I made reply:
To have held the bird,
And let it fly;
To have seen the star
For a moment nigh,
And lost it
Through a slothful eye;
To have plucked the flower
And cast it by;
To have one only hope— To die.
